Market Rules

Mission Statement: Belchertown Farmers and Artisans Market, inc. is a nonprofit organization which provides a unique venue for the public to purchase foods and other products directly from local producers in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. 

Our Vendors

2020 Vendors:
  • Auntie Elsie's Gourmet Oatmeal Crisps, iced and hot coffee
  • Austin Brothers Valley Farm - Grass-fed Beef, eggs, plus lots of fun events at the farm.
  • ​​Cold Spring Soapery-handmade natural soaps
  • Fortuna Artisan Crafts and Cookies- Italian baked goods 
  • Hope's Tent- a project sponsored by  Sentinel Farm for members of Hope United Methodist Church to sell produce, cheese and jam for the church. ​ 
  • Ishkabbile.crafts-wooden bandsaw boxes, spoons, birdhouses  and seasonal decorations 
  • Kelley Farm - Asian greens 
  • Lois Creations - handmade bags and other products 
  • Shattuck's Sugarhouse - Maple Products 
  • ​​Sir Barks-a-Lot-homemade healthy dog treats
  • Sentinel Farm - Fruit, berries, garlic and maple Syrup preording available for market pick-up 
  • Summit Farm - Vegetables, berries​, and fresh cut flowers

Many of our vendors accept credit/debit as well as Massachusetts Farmers' Market Nutrition Program coupons.  Look for signage at each stand or ask the vendors.

Organization

Belchertown Farmers and Artisans Market, inc. is a Massachusetts chapter 180 nonprofit corporation which is managed by a seven member Board of Directors in accordance with our bylaws.
BFM Bylaws

We work closely with the Belchertown Agricultural Commission and the New England Small Farms Institute in order to seek opportunities to support local agriculture and production as well as the social and civic life of our community.

As part of our mission to create a resource of great value to our community, we actively seek out all types of local vendors as well as providing a route for community organizations and businesses to educate the public about their activities.

We also welcome volunteers who are interested in community events, non-profit work, education, agriculture and food systems.  If you are interested in becoming involved, or have any questions, please contact us at through the contact page.
