What is HIP? HIP puts money back on your EBT card* when you use SNAP to buy healthy, local fruits and vegetables from HIP farm vendors. *up to a monthly cap of $40, $60, or $80 Massachusetts Farmers' Market Nutrition Program coupons. Look for signage at each stand or ask the vendors.

BFM Bylaws We work closely with the Belchertown Agricultural Commission and the New England Small Farms Institute in order to seek opportunities to support local agriculture and production as well as the social and civic life of our community. As part of our mission to create a resource of great value to our community, we actively seek out all types of local vendors as well as providing a route for community organizations and businesses to educate the public about their activities. We also welcome volunteers who are interested in community events, non-profit work, education, agriculture and food systems.
